Mia Wasikowska - Alice in Wonderland
Plot:
"Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn't remember."

Judging from the premise above we may consider this Alice in Wonderland movie as a sequel to Disney's animated movie from 1951. He a clip of Disney's movie:

Below a few words from Tim Burton about his take on Alice in Wonderland:

""it's kind of a mixture of some distorted live action and animation. I can't relate it to anything because I'm not sure what to relate it to. It's kind of new territory for me...""
Director Tim Burton

Indeed, besides being in 3D, the movie Alice in Wonderland is combining live action, motion capture technology and stop motion, so it promises to deliver a marvelous experience!
