Director Tim Burton is working on new Alice in Wonderland movie which will be released in 3D. Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland is based on the Lewis Carroll novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. The role of Alice is portrayed by Mia Wasikowska. Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway are also onboard, respectively as the Mad Hatter, the evil Red Queen, and the White Queen.
The movie Alice in Wonderland 3D is set for a release in March 2010.

Plot: "Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn't remember."
